If you need to create and make a fast profit, you can sell your information product first and then create the content later. This is another quick idea to start making information products you can sell from the content you already have.


Follow these steps to succeed


Step #1: Develop the Concept 

First, come up with the topic.

It should be something your audience really needs. Something that truly solves a pain point for them.

Choose something you already know and already have a lot of content for or that you’ve found PLR content about. Ensure that the information product, whether it’s an eBook or a Course, solves a pain point for your audience quickly and easily. 

For example, if your audience consists of individuals who own online shops that sell physical items and you know how to run successful Facebook Ads your information product could be about running Facebook Ads. It could be an eBook or even an online course delivered via email or via a platform like or 


Step #2: Create an Outline

Once you have the idea worked out, create an outline for it.

If it’s a course, determine how many modules you’ll want to create. If it’s a book create chapter titles. You don’t have to be perfect at this point, just get the outline made based on what you want to talk about during each chapter or module. 

Use this information to create your sales page.

You can create a sales page either using your website, a program like or, or use the platform you’ve chosen if its’ a course you want to teach. Use the information in the outline to make the sales page.


Step #3: Search Your Content Archives

Simultaneously with the outline start searching your storage for content that you’ve already created or purchased in the form of PLR.

Search your blog, your computer, and your cloud storage using the titles you’ve chosen which have keywords in them to find the content that you can repurpose into the book or the course. 

Note: Did you notice that you can write a book and a course thus doubling the results of your efforts. Any “how to” book can become a course. Maybe you already have a how-to book in your archives? 

Organize what you find according to the chapters or modules into a file folder so that you can use it to create your chapters or modules. 


Step #4: Presell the Information Product

As soon as you complete the sales page, you should have a timeline set for when you’ll publish the information for your buyers. Whether it’s an eBook, a course, or a membership site, it doesn’t matter. Start selling now. 

Send the information about the offering to your email list, then using the Facebook Pixel run ads on Facebook targeting former website visitors.

Write blog posts, create memes, update your social media, and let everyone know about your new product launch. Get affiliates involved too by offering 50 percent commission along with the right tools to promote your content.


Step #5: Create the Content

Now that you’re preselling, if you meet your minimum order, start creating the content to deliver on the timeline you set on your sales page. It’s going to be simple to create the content because you’ve got your outline and you know your topic, plus you have content already completed to help fill out your offering.


Step #6: Deliver the Information Product

Deliver the content you promised to the people who purchased it. It doesn’t matter what type of content it is, stick to the schedule you set so that your audience feels satisfied that you’ve stuck to your promises.


Step #7: Follow Up

The people who bought this content from you are likely good candidates to buy further information from you. Send a thank you, send reminders, send a survey, and then tweak what you’ve created to make it even better for the next buyers.


Remember, all the content in this information product doesn’t need to come from your blog. It can be a combination of blog posts, other articles you’ve published, private label rights content, and additional new content. Include a checklist, a workbook, and other content to fill out the information product to make it complete.


Tip: This same strategy can be used in a membership site.  Write the outline of what will be included (for example each week), use that information in your sales page, then all you need to have created is the first week. You can make each week's content as you go.
